Carnival by the Sea (Part I)

While the main reason I took time off last fall was to accommodate my daughter’s new homeschooling program, part of it was also to rejuvenate my creativity and take some pictures just for me; images that reflect what I like shooting best without the pressure of standard poses or locations. Technically, I didn’t take these last fall, but I had approached these clients then to see if they would model for me. I hadn’t seen them since I shot their wedding, and I couldn’t wait to hang out once again and meet their angelic faced little girl. The early morning hours at Belmont Park gave us the whimsical backdrop of a deserted carnival, and since it’s adjacent to the ocean, we had the additional setting of the beach. Stay tuned for the future post, “Carnival by the Sea (Part 2).”
